VACANCIES

When you’re designing and manufacturing your product you need to ensure that all the components are produced profitably… to save you time and money and enhance the appearance and durability of your product.

You need to be confident that the supplier you choose for individual components has an efficient service that speeds up your lead time, provides value for money and manufactures goods of the highest quality .. whilst minimising your costs.

At C.B Payne (Plastics) Ltd we understand that, which is why we aim to manufacture all your plastic machining needs in a highly efficient way, to appeal to customers, and be reliable and economical.

10,000 tried and tested components give us the experience to obtain maximum endurance and performance for your designs. That’s why we’ve spent the past 31 years specialising and working solely in this niche market and our dedicated team of engineers, chemists and machinists typically has 10 to 15 years experience in production with these materials to ensure you get optimum performance from the components.

Ten thousand different components and machined parts have been designed and tested for their performance in their application… giving piece of mind, that individual needs can be handled confidently and efficiently.

Optimum design through effective solutions

Understanding your drawings and sketches of your component is crucial so that we can examine exactly what it is that you need and to possibly suggest alternative materials and methods that can minimise your costs or suggest superior materials which can improve the appearance of your product or increase it's durability and suitability for purpose.

By taking the time to listen to your dilemmas and the requirements of your components, we can quickly determine the best solution for your product … often this entails an in-house brainstorming session where our team produce a selection of different options for you to choose from, so you can enhance the value of your product to your customers.

Manufacturing techniques to reduce your production and set up costs

A proposal will be specially prepared for your requirements, outlining and detailing the production machining technique of a stable item at the most economic price. Conventional lathes and milling machines or CNC machining centre are used to produce complex components such as flow cell or distribution manifolds; CNC turning centre for 5 axis machining; CNC routing for complex and very accurate profiles.

You can compare the same component manufactured from different materials or different batch quantities so you can clearly see the material, machining method, any proposed heat treatment, lead-in time and cost per item… making your decision quicker and easier.
